Kensington had her second doctors visit this past week. She now weighs (drum roll, please) 8lbs, 4oz... and is 21 inches long. There are a couple 0-3 month outfits that she's been able to fit into, but many of them are still a little large on her.

Hello, I came across your blog yesterday and was so intrigued and moved by your journey that I read the entire thing the past 2 evenings. What a lucky little girl Kensington is to have such amazing and loving daddies. I have to say that tears were shed on multiple posts. Three things on your blog really stuck out for me. First, the philosophy that you mention in your profile - that your job is not to create a person but to support a person as they create themselves. That is so powerful. My partner and I feel the exact same way, I just never articulated it so well. Secondly, your caption upon meeting the bio parents for the first time - that info about them and things you discussed were not your story to tell...I feel that that is so respectful to your daughter and I commend you on keeping that private for her. My partner and I feel the same way when it comes to information about our daughter's donor. We've kept everying about him between us since we feel that our daughter should have information about him before anyone else does. And lastly, your post on your marriage...the vows were incredibly beautiful and I may just have to steal them if my partner and I ever marry. Best wishes to you and your beautiful family!
By the way, my blog is private but I'd be glad to send you an invite if you'd like. Just email me at janddaz at hotmail dot com
